Advisor to the President, Government of the Russian Federation
In 2008, Arkady Dvorkovich was named Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation regarding the state’s leading industrial groups’ business and connections with representatives of the Big Eight.
In 1994, Mr Dvorkovich worked as a Consultant, Senior Expert, General Director and Research Manager in the Finance Ministry’s group of economic experts. In 2000, he started working at the Center for Strategic Research and was an advisor to the Economics Minister. The next year, Mr Dvorkovich became Deputy Economics Minister. Over 2004-08, he headed the Russian President’s Expert Administration.
Mr Dvorkovich graduated from the Lomonosov State University (Moscow) with a degree in Economic Cybernetics. He also holds economics degrees from the New Economic School (Russia) and Duke University (US).
